My name is James Posko. The approach I take in web design is to create designs that are both functional and visually exciting for users.

Design is a passion that drives me to learn and discover new ways of delivering visual design to a wider audience. I am a front-end web designer who also enjoys the challenge of front-end development and creating web sites designed with the user in mind.

Flash and Dreamweaver

The Nike Store Promo CD was designed by nemodesign. They contracted me to convert the design to a working flash CD in which a user can watch videos, download wallpapers and screensavers. I used the flash timeline in conjunction with ActionScript 2 and exported the finished product as a self-contained flash projector to run on mac and PC's.

ActionScript 3 and XML

The album finder is a concept piece designed to explore ActionScript 3 and the integration of XML. This is a project still in the works and it will eventually store different genres of music in which the user will be able to update easily. The purpose behind the project is a place to store and organize information about your favorite albums and retrieve that information quickly.
